Haloperidol decanoate is indicated for the treatment of schizophrenia in adults who were previously taking a stable dosage of an immediate-release oral haloperidol product. Haloperidol decanoate is a typical antipsychotic indicated for the treatment of schizophrenia in adults who were previously taking a stable dosage of an immediate-release oral haloperidol product ( 1 ).
