Metformin hydrochloride extended-release tablets are indicated as an adjunct to diet and exercise to improve glycemic control in adults with type 2 diabetes mellitus. Metformin hydrochloride extended-release tablets are biguanides indicated as an adjunct to diet and exercise to improve glycemic control in adults with type 2 diabetes mellitus.
